Hometown: San Francisco
Ice Cream joined me in studio 16 at Music City Rehearsal to talk about Ice Cream (Ben and Jerry’s, Mitchel’s, Bi-Rite, Three Twins, Double Rainbow), the band Ice Cream (Lou Rappoport, Kevin Fielding, Joseph Sample, Bryce Fernandez), Guayaki Organic Yerba Mate, Twisted Metal, Sweet Tooth, Sony, Ford, craigslist, and other sponsorship opportunities.
The band is working on finishing their debut full-length album recorded and mixed by legend Bruce Botnick (The Doors, The Beach Boys) and San Francisco underground icon Mike Carnahan. Their single “Seventeen” has already been premiered with The Wild Honey Pie and if it’s any indication of the rest of the bag, heads are gonna roll.
Interviews are shot in Studio 18 … except this one! We shot in studio 16, because the Flaming Groovies were in Studio 18. Music City Rehearsal offers the best deal on fully equipped rehearsal studios. The studios can accommodate most band sizes and configurations, and they are fully stocked with quality gear from reputable manufacturers all around.
